A couple weekends ago, it was my mom’s birthday, and all she wanted to do was celebrate with a homemade dinner with the family that night, and then get up bright and early the next morning to head up to the White Mountains for the Omni Mount Washington Hotel’s breakfast!

Ski Holiday at Sunday River

Winter has not come to southern New Hampshire yet…we have about 2 inches of snow on the ground, and that’s it. I’m hoping the big snow comes soon…just three feet…please! For me if it’s cold, it has to be accompanied by snow, otherwise winter can get long, and boring, and sad.

The Best Year of My Life So Far

2018 was the most amazing year. There were so many adventures, some planned, most wonderfully unexpected, and all very fun. In the spring I made the goal to workout, eat healthy, and act on my adventurous spirit, and thanks to the amazing summer, I was able to keep those goals!

It’s no secret that I love hot chocolate (stay tuned for an upcoming blog post on my favorite hot chocolate spots in New England). I drink a cup of homemade hot chocolate nearly every day, and many times twice a day. I never liked the taste of coffee, so hot chocolate is my coffee.

Gifts that Last

Over the past year, I have slowly begun to realize that there are a few items in my closet that I wear constantly. I embarrassingly admit that I have a couple closets full of clothes in my house…however, I find myself reaching for the same things over and over again. The common denominator has been that they are high quality. They still look good over the years, they hold up in the harsh elements, and they get more comfortable with time.
