I’m going to take you back to April now for a continuation of my Europe trip (see my last post from Scotland here). Our first night in Scotland was spent at the gorgeous Dalmahoy Hotel in the Scottish countryside. Located just outside of Edinburgh, the Dalmahoy is an old country house built in the 1720s, sitting on an estate now owned by the 22nd Earl of Morton. It is now a country club and hotel, with a large added wing where the rooms are located.
After a long train ride from London, we rented a car in the Edinburgh, and though we were thoroughly exhausted once we arrived at the hotel, my mom and I knew we had to walk around the surrounding countryside and get some photos before the sun went down.
It was pretty cold out, so I threw on this amazing Barbour wrap (borrowed from my mom) to serve as an oversize scarf to keep me toasty warm in the damp Scottish air. I have a feeling I might be borrowing this scarf a lot more now that it is Fall here in New England…look out mom… 😉
