County Fair

One of the great country pastimes of this world is the local County Fair. Games, sheep, rides, food, produce competitions, families everywhere enjoying the fun, music, kettle corn, cider doughnuts! What more could you want from an afternoon?

Summer Snapshots

I hope everyone had as lovely a summer as I did! For the next several days the temperatures are set to be in the low 70s, with 40s/50s as the lows! It’s beginning to feel a lot like fall around here, and while it makes me sad to say goodbye to summer, the last months of the year are always my favorite!

This was a great summer, for me, I got to do so many amazing things. I camped for the first time in my life, enjoyed the waters on the Cape, adventured all over Maine, saw some great lighthouses, hiked a mountain, sipped lemonade all season, swam and paddle boarded on a lake, and made wonderful memories with friends and family!

In honor of the wonderful season, I’ve pulled together a few of my favorite IG shots that I captured from the fun adventures I was blessed to have this summer. Enjoy!

McLoons Lobster Shack

While in Maine a couple weeks ago, my family and I made it a point to try a lobster roll at McLoons Lobster Shack on Spruce Head Island. Easily accessible by bridge, and tucked way back in the trees at the end of a residential road sits the shack that makes the best lobster roll in Maine, according to Yankee Magazine!

I must admit, I was very nervous to do this post. Knowing that I am not an expert on fitness, I wasn’t sure if talking about my workout routine was a good idea. But in the end, I’ve decided that posting this might, at least, be a bit encouraging to others out there.

Maine Packing List

Whenever I go on a trip, one of the most fun (and most stressful) parts is figuring out what I need to pack. I always enjoy the process of getting everything organized and ready, but the hard part, for me, always seems to be finding the perfect outfits for each day. I usually plan outfits weeks/months in advance, and by the time I get around to the actual packing, the outfit ideas have changed three or four times by then. Haha!
