Today I am off to Vermont for a day trip full of fall foliage, pumpkins, and apples. My plan is to sip apple cider, eat doughnuts, and bring back a car-full of pumpkins and gourds! I hope all of you are finding uber-autumnal things to do this season!
Here are my favs for the week!
Plaid Alphabet Mugs – My mom found these mugs online at Pottery Barn this week, and ordered several for the family for Christmastime! It’s kind of crazy to think that Christmas is just around the corner. I’m not quite sure I’m ready for it yet, but it tickles me pink nonetheless!
Jackie Greaney and Paul Havel for Barbour – I’ve followed Paul and Jackie on Instagram for a few years now, and they are some of my all-time favs! They moved to Maine last year, and their IGs are always full of wonderful New England photos and short videos (Jackie’s IG, and Paul’s IG)! They recently did a campaign for Barbour’s AW17 Coastal Collection, and were interviewed for the Barbour blog. Check out Jackie’s interview here and Paul’s here! Enjoy!
Swedish Royal Family Releases Photos of Prince Gabriel – Like most Americans, I kind of get a tad obsessed about the royal families in Europe, and the Swedish royal family is no exception. Little Prince Gabriel, born back in August to Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia, is just too adorable…check out these photos of the family!…I mean…come on! Can this family be anymore gorgeous?
Caramel Apples vs. Candy Apples vs. Toffee Apples – Continuing the great decision on which of these sweet treats is the best, my mom and I made the candy apples last weekend. I’ve never had a candy apple before that I can remember, and I really enjoyed it! It seemed almost like a grown-up caramel apple because it was a bit lighter and more delicate. I though it tasted like an apple pie, and I loved it! However…I think I still like a good ol’ caramel apple better…but we shall have to see what the toffee apple is like before final decisions are made! Check out the recipe we used here.
