So, I recently did a poll on my instastories asking what content my readers would like to see more of. When I asked if you would like to see more recipes on the blog, the answer was an overwhelming yes! So I thought I’d start with my favorite daily smoothie.
I don’t eat breakfast, as it tends to make me feel sick first thing in the morning, so I usually make this smoothie in the late morning and have it as sort of a brunch. It’s super rich and filling, and I find that when I have this, I don’t crave, or really need, anything till dinner, though I tend to have a snack in between. Here’s how you make this power smoothie:
Peanut Butter Chocolate Super Smoothie
Serving Size: 2
Ingredients:
2 large, ripe Bananas
1 ripe Avocado, pitted, and scooped out of the skin
1 cup of Plain Greek Yogurt (no sugar in it!)
2 T. all-natural Peanut Butter
1 small spoonful of Coconut Oil
2 T. Cocoa Powder
1 Cup of Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
a small handful of sliced almonds (optional)
Directions:
Put all ingredients in a blender and blend on high until thick and creamy, with no lumps. Pour into two tall glasses, and enjoy!
